Wyoming Medical Center Foundation

For more than 40 years, the Wyoming Medical Center Foundation has helped the hospital advance its mission of building a healthier community. Every year, it provides about $90,000 to help Wyoming cardiology and cancer patients through their treatments and recovery, and its Masterson Place and Angels Cancer Care program provide direct aid to patients. Some of its recent milestones include:

  • Secured $3.2 million in private donations for the McMurry West Tower
  • Secured $2 million for our Emergency Department expansion
  • Committed $1.5 million to the creation of our new NERD Health and Wellness Center

As a strategic partner of Wyoming Medical Center, the Foundation’s mission is to aid in promoting the hospital’s goal of being a healthcare leader in safety and quality. We strive to improve the health of the community through financial and educational support.

Masterson Place

Often referred to as “a home away from home,” the Masterson Place is a needed refuge for patients and families of Wyoming Medical Center and other area hospitals. The Foundation is now raising $6 million for construction of a new building across the street from Wyoming Medical Center, providing a convenient and comfortable hospitality house for our patients and families. It will be located on Third and Washington streets.

The Masterson Place grew from the vision of Mary Masterson and continues to thrive thanks to her famly’s continued support. Presently located at 2325 E. Yellowstone Highway in Casper, the Masterson Place serves thousands of patients every year. It offers short- and long-term accommodations for patients and families at a cost of $45 per night. Each room has a small eating area, microwave and refrigerator.

For reservations or more information, contact the Masterson Place at (307) 237-5933.
